EyeTech Welcomes Dr. Charles Philpy!

EyeTech Optometry (formerly Complete Family Eye Care in Dillon) is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Charles“Chuck” Philpy to our team! EyeTech will now be able to provide our excellent service to even more people in our Summit County community.

Colorado Native 

Dr. Philpy was born in Lamar, Colorado and raised on a working cattle ranch. He received his undergraduate degree in Cellular Biology from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and graduated with honors with his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Move to Summit County

Dr. Philpy received extensive experience with the Cherokee Nation and Indian Health Services, providing eye care to thousands of Native American patients during his optometric training. He completed rotations specializing in the treatment and management of glaucoma and dry eye diseases and gained top-notch experience working with top LASIK and cataract surgeons in the Denver area. He is looking forward to serving the Summit County area’s eye care needs and to becoming an active member of our community.

Avid Outdoorsman

Having grown up in the country, Dr. Philpy has a deep appreciation for the outdoor Colorado lifestyle, enjoying skiing, boating, and hiking with his beloved dog, Scout. Dr. Philpy is an avid basketball fan and loves to travel and garden in his spare time.

Ranching Lifestyle

Dr. Philpy enjoys helping his parents on the family ranch when time allows, mending fences, working cattle, and branding calves in the spring and early summer. Being raised in this hardworking environment has shaped his integrity and appreciation for Colorado agriculture.
