New Name, Same Great People

Posted by admin on April 21, 2017

2017 is proving to be an exciting year for Complete Family Eye Care!

Dr. Christena Ward, OD, owner and optometrist of EyeTech Optometry, thought it was high time for a new location, an additional doctor, and a new name, all coming together in this first part of 2017. Although we have loved being in Dillon for many years, the space has gotten tired, and we are simply out of space!  So, in order to best serve our patients without long waits for appointments, we are making the move to our new space in Frisco, right across from Whole Foods. And along with our move May 1st, we are unveiling a brand-new name, refreshed brand, increased marketing, and new logo.

Our name Complete Family Eye Care has served us well. But with all our investments in technology, it is time to freshen our brand to incorporate the notable advances in optometry we offer our loyal patients. We chose the name EyeTech Optometry to reflect our investments in eye care technology and project a more modern vibe to you, our patients.

Will we still be focused on the complete family? Of course we will! Kids, teens, adults, and seniors – all our patients are cherished by our practice and we provide an exceptional experience for eye care patients of all ages.

To expand on the technology element of our new name, our inspiration is best illustrated through a story.

Patients often want to schedule their regular eye exams late in the day because of their expectation of having their eyes dilated during the exam, and having trouble seeing well until their eyes return to normal. But with our instrument called the Optomap, we can get a digital image of your retina for evaluation that also provides a year to year comparison so we can watch for changes in your retina over time WITHOUT dilating your eyes! Plus, the Optomap provides a larger 200-degree view of the retina than conventional eye exams – it’s pretty terrific. Plus, this machine saves time since we don’t have to wait for the eyes to dilate with drops! So our patients can confidently book their appointments at any time of the day, knowing that they can go back to their normal activities with no interruption.

This is just one example of how technology benefits our patients and leverages all the new advances in modern eye care here in our mountain community.

Rest assured, Dr. Ward remains the owner and doctor here at EyeTech Optometry. We would love you to come by and say hello! We can’t wait to show off our new space on May 1st, and welcome you to our eye care family. And click here if you’re due for your next eye appointment to schedule a time that works for you.
